Sigh!!! Attica???

General
So, if it seems I’ve been quiet lately, it’s not your imagination.
TLDR:
About a month ago, I was putting away a half empty box of frozen waffles (Don’t judgement!) The freezer is on the bottom, and though I barely had to bend over, I felt a pop, and I saw the whole of the Magic Kingdom fireworks, condensed into 2 seconds. Holy crap!
A not so quick trip to ER confirmed an injury to the left sciatic nerve bundle. They took x-rays, gave me a shot, some pills, and prescriptions. None of the pain pills I’ve taken through this ordeal have done a thing to numb the pain. For the first few weeks I couldn’t stand up longer than a minute, couldn’t sit up for more than 30 seconds, and basically had to find a comfortable position horizontally, which after awhile would become uncomfortable, so I’d have to move to another position.
The whole ”horizontal” thing meant I couldn’t drive into work, nor could I run service calls, so I went on medical leave. It’s been a little over a month.
Last week was the first week that the pain, which had moved to my hip, was noticeably better, although my left thigh was (and still is) mostly numb, but also inflamed, and having random spasms of pain (less frequent now).
The whole “not sitting upright” thing meant I couldn’t even sit at my computer long enough to boot up and sign in. So I’ve mostly been on my iPhone, with some time on my iPad.
Now, my point is, and I do have one, that I’ve really not been spending much time online (but I’ve watched more Food Network, Cooking Channel, and blu-Ray discs than I thought possible). So if if not gotten back to you as quickly or even at all, that would be why, and you have my most sincere apologies.
I head back to work next Week, so things are getting back to ”normal”
I hope all of my followers who observe such things, have a happy Thanksgiving day.

FA+

They gave me headphones, and put on some jazz (I was thinking Billy Holiday, Miles Davis, and Lalo Schifrin, but I got Frank Sinatra and Vince Guaraldi... I was still happy!)
The good thing was that I have Short Term Disability insurance, so I’m not in bad shape, and my husband has been picking what I can’t do, plus what he thinks I shouldn’t do.
Thanks to everyone for the well wishing!
