Something that bugs me about creators who use Patreon.

When a creator on Patreon treats those who donate $1 and those who don't donate anything as the same thing.
What I mean to say is, sometimes when I come across a Patreon creator, they'll have multiple tiers, as per usual. They'll give greater rewards for higher tiers/higher donations, understandable. Not all of them have $1 tiers, they want to make money, also understandable.
But sometimes when I see creators who have $1 tiers, they don't offer anything for donating that amount. It'll usually just say "A big thanks for your support" or something along those lines. While I completely understand the aversion to give much for just $1, those who donate $1 shouldn't be treated the same as those who don't donate anything at all. Yes, it is just $1, but that's $1 more than that guy who just pressed the "Follow" button. Surely, donating any amount of money on a site like Patreon should net a least something, right?
I also understand that there are creators who use Patreon merely as a tip jar. Who usually only have $1 and rarely any higher tiers. If you use your Patreon as a tip jar, the absence of any reward for donating is understandable; it's just a tip jar. But I'm not referring to those types of creators/accounts. I'm referring to those who'll give you something should you donate to them. I just don't think it's fair to give nothing to those who donate just $1.

I don't like patreon I feel like it's unfair and in a way begging for fallowers and donations. I mean maybe that's just me and why I don't have many of ether but at the same time I'm like I shouldn't have to ask for donations and if and when I do get them I feel like I need to give back 10x more then I recieved.
