The wait for Joey's Canadian citizenship certificate continues, and so the wait for his and mommy's leaving continues. The very earliest that we would have heard back is now, so the Wonka-ian Golden Ticket should come any day now. On Friday before last Michelle got a FedEx envelope from the Canadian government saying that since her social security number has been inactive for more than five years, she needs to fill out X form and return, which she did and returned via FedEx on the following Saturday. That documentation allows her to transfer her Eddie job seamlessly to Oshawa.

So yeah, unless something unexpected happens, we're resigning to the notion that Thanksgiving and even Christmas may be spent on this side of the border. Which is unfortunate because my Silly Girl is getting VERY restless. But what can we do? The waiting continues...
