Hey guys, any old DnD player out there?

I have been a DnD player longer than a lot of people have been around.
I still have a copy of the old books on the shelf, and includes the old blue covered book, and a copy of Greyhawk as well.
I was going to move our present game for a bunch of older players, and it looks like the library on Sunday afternoons, and then going to the diner that's just about across the street.
Pie and coffee after a game, does it get any better

I used to DM in Junior High. Hate-popular because my wild and vivid imagination made awful dungeons.
My current old school campaign has been running for 3 years, with the characters now about 6th level. Great fun!
You and I are from the same generation, I think. I began playing DnD in the autumn of '79 and got all the Advanced rulebooks that Christmas as a gift. I began DMing on New Year's Day, for my cousins, 1980. :)
I can't honestly say I remember any of that, I just know I've disliked hobbits ever since
