I really don't like beer (except for root beer, that stuff is super strange but somehow okay), but you could try cider! Not the French crap, cidre, but something from the UK or Ireland, or even Sweden! Cider comes as a pure apple wine, or mixed with fruit like berries, which is usually sweeter than the pure stuff.
I'm not a cocktail drinker, so I can only suggest one. A white Russian is pretty nice, if you fancy something with slightly more punch.

Thanks! I am one who likes root beer aswell (mainly Mugs brand with a few more obscure glass bottle brands). Only tried two which was an apple cider (was okay) and red wine (did not like it.) I will see if they have anything at the place I am going to for dinner!

Sorry for late response. Didnt go for my birthday but I just got to the steakhouse and got a mix of pineapple juice, cranberry juice, and vodka. Its pretty good when it comes to alchohol.
