i get on there at random intervals (read: rarely) because it functions to me as IRC with avatars, not really a game. shoot people and speed around in a hamburger car, and it's entertaining enough for a while. seems most folks use it for sex, though. fffffff. '___`

i use it to relax =^.^= i have a lil tropical island in a quiet sim, with ocean sounds and birds and a hammock and freindly people stopping by to chat *giggles* and if i wanna cut loose i go to a club and dance my tail off, its nice after a big day

Ok so you found out the most important thing about SL it sucks. The media way over hypes it. But SL can be fun (read: Maybe possibly be somewhat a tiny bit better). On thing is make some friends and bug the living hell out of them (or not). Second plot to take over SL... err i mean respect the linden (and attack when they will not see it coming). Third Mess with building objects and scripting. Forth get a Furry av if you don't have one and go up the a random person with a human av and go "OMFGWTF HuMaN!1!1" and see what happens (i need to try that). I really can;t give main grid fun place advice because i am on the teen grid, but i think SL is only fun for chatting, roleplaying, creative expression, and metaverse domination (umm... scratch that last one). Ow and the totally awsome stuff you speak of died with the 50L$ stipend for basic accounts. If you have any more questions about SL contact me.

they are all made within the game itself. jiggling and other effects are done through scripting on the objects.

Well to answer your last question it is because i am only 15 (16 on may 15th) and Linden Labs put me in the teen grid. And as citrine_foxx said you have to make or buy (or find free) any of the add-ons. The scripting is somewhat hard but it is easy to mod someone else scripts. Try the freebie warehouse if you haven't (hehe, i got one the main grid once, so it is a place there) and see if you can find some nice stuff to learn how to build/script from.

SL sucks, I KNEW IT!! Saves me the hassle of downloading that crap.
