I've finally started to emerge out of yet another artblock + full time job, so I would love to celebrate with some portrait drawing!

That's great! I hope the ice gods are kind to you. ;D And omg you're so lucky! I've been looking high and low for a good ugly christmas sweater (we're having a competition with that on christmas), but i cannot for my life find one i want haha!

And my life's going alright, I suppose. Kinda jobless now, though, which sucks, but I'll manage somehow.
Ahh yes, I relate! But I try to see joblessness as an opportunity to start doing something you're passionate about. :)
Unfortunately, doing what I'm passionate about requires me to have money, which, without a job, I don't have much of. Still, definitely a good way of looking at things. c:
