So for a while now I've had issues with my Cintiq that I thought were caused by various hardware issues in either my desktop or the tablet itself. After working through everything, building a newer more powerful rig, and talking through the situation with Wacom tech support and with some friends it seems the problem itself is not what Wacom thought it might be. What I've found is these pen display tablets eventually take on ware from use to the unmentioned texture surface that is applied to the tablet screen. Thankfully this texture surface is nothing more than a form of screen protector and I have already ordered the replacement to fix the issue. When it arrives I will get back to work on my backlog of undigitized artwork and back to comic production, as well as finally be able to finish my patreon banner and get that off the ground after it's year long stasis. Thank you all for not giving up on me yet but also yes I am very much alive.
