Purpose, and New-Years' Resolution
Ahoy there!
So, I am writing this, nearing the end of what may have been the best three months of my life so far, and with the potential of more to come, I have to say I'm excited for my future now, a feeling I haven't felt truly in a long time. Although I've had a few ups and downs of depression, I feel like little by little I'm beginning to feel out purpose and the limits of who I am and what I want to be, and am working on bringing the two close together.
Now, I know what you're all thinking, isn't it a bit early to make a new years' resolution? Personally, I've always been of the opinion that if you have the opportunity or desire to change your life then you shouldn't wait until a special time to do it, in the words of Shia Lebouf "Just do it!" And on that note, I've begun drawing again, I haven't got anything I'm confident uploading yet, and circumstances outside of my control mean I'm probably not gonna have huge opportunities to draw over the next few weeks, but I'll keep the practice up and hopefully in the new year I'll finally be able to get some of my own work on here, and take my place among the artists I've come to admire.
Or maybe not, maybe I'll be complete shit...but there's only one way to find out, and if you want to be a winner, you have to learn to lose.
