I don't think I would do much of that. I would probably just link the Patreon in every FA post but I have no interest in a paywall.

A good way to go about it is to do commissions with a price sheet of various levels to help streamline the process. Sketch, lines, painted, Headshot, Bust, Full Body, Reference sheet, etc.
For subscription-based stuff like Patreon, early-access to things you draw separate from commissions would allow you to make some extra cash without losing the advertising of the art itself behind the paywall. If enough people join the subscription model, some folks sometimes add in certain tier rewards like entry into a drawing or something.

Just remember that if they pay via paypal, ask that they do not sent the money as a gift option or else it can get kinda complicated.

I am financially stable, I don't really want to do a paywall. And if I did it would be a short turn around from Patreon release to FA release.
