Woke up to find our car stolen. It was illegally towed with no reason, and we have to pay an outrageous fee to get it back. The tow company is claiming it's been abandoned, and was covered in warning stickers, but the tags were just renewed this month and unless the stickers all popped up overnight, they've fucked up.

We don't have money to fight this, and we don't have the money to pay the fee. So I'm super desperately trying to fill my queue. If you can't get something yourself, PLEASE spread my info around.

Please spread this around. We already went through this last month and I had to withdraw from my IRA to fix it. I cannot do that again. Our taxes are already going to be a nightmare because of how much I'll owe from doing that even once.

I'm so fucking sick from all of this. We wouldn't have gone through the financial stress of this happening last month if we knew they were going to keep doing it.

UPDATE: We got a call back this morning, an hour after we go to bed (yay being Night People). While their records indicate something may have gone wrong, we're still on the hook for $350 to get our car back, plus whatever the new ticket is. Tomorrow, we get to walk about a mile (I am disabled, wheee!) to go deposit my husband's paycheque so we can walk to the tow company to get our car out. And then hope we have enough to pay our electric bill and rent. -_-
