Hey everyone. It's Jasmine here.
It's been awhile since I made a update as it's been a few hectic weeks. With myself being ill for so long followed with episodes of depression. To which at this time of the year being the holiday's. It's not the easiest time of the year for those of us. Especially losing a family member like myself back in August. So I guess I have very little interest in celebrating Christmas this year sadly. I got a few things I'd like to mention in this journal update. The sad stuff first then the good stuff I got planned for 2020 with my artwork. Best to get the bad stuff out the way before the good stuff, right? I know it's gonna be a
long update. But hopefully I won't drag on for too long. ^^;
Anyway. Here we go. First off. here's some of the sad stuff.
As for my Twitch gaming streams I've been doing in the past. After giving it some thought, I have come to a decision that I will no longer be doing Twitch game streams anymore as I have pretty much lost the drive and interest to do it any longer. And the fact that my late brother was the one who helped play a big role in setting it up with me as we sat at his home and made my account together with him and was amongst my very first viewers that gave some constructive feedback about it and all that.
But now that he's gone. It just feels too sad and upsetting for me to do it anymore. Or even bring myself to continue with it. I'm very sorry to those who have enjoyed my gaming streams in the past. It's not a easy decision for me either. I might do gaming streams again someday. But I don't know.
So as from January the 1st, 2020. I will be deactivating my Twitch for good and have no intention of using that platform again. I do feel really bad for doing this. But who knows?, Maybe I might change my mind then.
And another bit of a sad thing is on that same date I plan to delete Grand Theft Auto 5 from my PS4. I'm kinda at a point where I'm just done with it. The online part mainly as it's pretty much become a absolute grind fest with greifers who like to ruin it for everyone else and with how R* just want to constantly milk the hell out of it by making the vehicles and stuff so damn expensive in order to get us to buy shark cards or grind on end for hours which gets boring after awhile. I'm just personally tired of R*'s greed at this point. Charging a insane amount of money in the game for a 1990's Subaru car for example the same price as a super high end sports car is just beyond excusable. And the cost of the properties that come with each update in order to do these heists with that pay a lame ass amount of money.
I apologise again for those who played it with me in the past as I made a mercenary style crew for anyone to join. So I will be pretty much deleting GTA5 and just moving on to other games.
Also will not be drawing a Christmas themed piece for this year sadly as I doubt I have the drive to create something like that themed for reasons mentioned above.
And now with all the sad stuff out of the way. We can now focus on the more positive stuff which sounds nice :)
I been making plans for a certain set of themes and stuff I plan to work on and experiment with my art. I will always continue to draw the thicc curvaceous and hyper ladies I always enjoyed. So I thought I'd add a theme to that kind of stuff. I thought about a throwback to the 1980's and 1990's themed stuff. Doing the thicc curvy stuff with 80's vaporwave and newwave theme to it. As someone who grew up playing the older GTA's like Vice City and San Andreas. I thought it'd be fun to work with.
And I will announce a webcomic idea I have planned for 2020 with a cyberpunk retro 80's futuristic theme about a elite unit of cops that consist of curvy female furry ladies fighting crime and all sorts of bad assery. And of course hopefully I can reveal more a web comic and art of it that is about a group of furry mercenaries that is set in the present day that follows their exploits.
I just felt it'd be fun to do those as it would give my art a sense of direction I can go in with my work as It's been steadily improving over the years and would be cool to add to the stuff I still love to draw.
And on my Twitter I plan to do monthly polls to which you, the fans can take part in in helping me decide which of the 3 ideas I could cook up and see what you guys and gals think I should draw. Like at the end of a month I jumble up some random ideas like for example.
1- Hyper Trisha
2- Giantess Susie
3- Alernative goth thicc Vicky
It would also be a fun thing to do as it could get creative juices flowing. As I've yet to have a Patreon. I thought my twitter would be a good place to do these monthly polls and suggestions as it helps the fans feel a part of the fun.
Phew, that was a big update. But I thank you all for bearing with me on this. So now I'd like to close this update with a few last things.
I am finishing up the last two more commissions I owe to a couple of clients on FA and DA and I really thank you for those who have been so patient with me. I do honestly feel guilty and rotten to have kept some of you waiting this long as 2019 hasn't been a good year for me. I really thank you all for your support and love. It's deeply appreciated :)
I will be taking a break from commissions after I've finished the last two. For a few months so I can work on stuff I've been meaning to work on and will reopen commissions again around spring or summer of 2020. Not sure when, But will keep you all posted here and via my Twitter which you can find here

I'm still sorry about your brother. Again, losing someone as close as a sibling will stick with someone and understandable as to why you didn't want to carry on the streams since he was a big part of it.
I stopped playing GTA 5 a loooong time ago sadly heh, I was pretty amazed they updated the game for this long for online. but we all grow bored of games sooner or later :p or get a burnout.

Break from commissions is good, gives you time to relax and "kick your feet up" heh, but do let me know when they do open again ^^
