I know, Power Rangers? Bleh who watched that? XD
Well I did and me and some friends have been doing our own pen and paper based extensively on the system done in Power Rangers Hyperforce which is OFFICIAL, It's a four 4D6 system, so it's pretty simple. I'm looking for a team of five rangers, maybe six right off the bat, not sure. I'll explain the plot/motif below.
Many years ago in a far away galaxy on the Planet Vega-12, an alien scientist named Doctor Valos was researching a new kind of science to extract the 'Essence' of non-sentient beings and splice them with more sentient lifeforms. In doing this, he sought to give other races the attributes/abilities of the lower-life forms in an effort to evolve them in order to improve living as well as allow them to adapt to horrible situations. What made this possible was a theroetical gene higher life forms possessed known as the 'Anima-Factor'. However, a warlord known as Xenozite who is the leader of the Xeno-Empire, caught wind of this research and brought his generals to take the research to create the 'Ultimate Lifeform' and conquer galaxies. In the ensuing struggle, Valos escaped with his research through a wormhole, while Xenozite only retrieved his equipment and parts of his research.
Valos, having arrived on Earth near the mountain bordered town of Glenn Peak, sets up his research anew. Having discovered that homo-sapien's posses the Anima-Factor more than any race in the galaxy, he begins to develop a counter-measure for when the Xeno-Empire will inevitably find him. But in order for this measure to work, in order to defeat Xenozite and his monsters the Beast-Men, Valos will have to assemble chosen humans who's 'Anima-Factor' is high enough to enable 'Essence Empowering'. These humans will become the defenders of both Glenn Peak & Earth with the power of Animals of their planet at their disposal.
They will become the Power Rangers Menagerie!
Spread this around to some circles if you feel you can help me with this. HOWEVER, if you're interested I'll tell you the criteria to apply. Note me a bio of your character, include the title 'Menagerie: 'Character Name'' What must be included.
1. Background and description of your character with a bit of personality section there. Special skills, any combat training, age, appearance, etc. It'll help me weigh my options.
2. Two Colors, so I can pick what color ranger you'll be of course :3
3. Two of your Fave animals, so I can pick one for you to be your base power-set,
4. Just a small thing, characters are human BUT I'll allow aliens if I feel it would be a good fit.
When I find my roster, I'll post a Journal stating it's closed and I'll ask for all involved to send me their Discord so I can make a group on Discord to do this proper. As for session dates and times, we'll all come together and figure out what day or days work for everyone. Hope to get some prospects soon!
