So here we are again. Another lap around the Sun finished. That's 29 now, which means I'm close to 30, which is close to 40, which is practically 50.

I'm gettin old for this world folks. Relatively speaking of course. I think I'm honestly still trying to get my head around the fact that I'm nearing 30, and to be frank I never thought I'd make it this far.

But, here we are all the same.

If I don't sound cheerful, well I apologize, because I am! Today and tomorrow are the best 48 hours of the year as far as I'm concerned. I'm just kinda over the novelty of the birthday. When you get down to it, all I did was not die for 12 months. But I will concede that a living streak of 348 straight months is nothing to scoff at. In fact, we should all be so lucky to be here!

But I'm getting ahead of myself. That's for next week.
