MFM this year was a complete success. I really have no base of comparison as to previous years, as it was my first, but it was a lovely time nonetheless. I've been avoiding most cons lately due to work, and MFM was my last minute do or die con I so desperately needed to get away and get my furry fix.

The drive there was not so bad, I had another fur among us to do some of the driving.

So we arrived by car, and we mingled, danced at the dance, sang horribly at karaoke, and I got to see friends that I hadn't seen in years. It was awesome.

Tiger had an agenda this year, playing an emo trick on everyone to make-beleive the con was over, an emotional video ensued to further portray the con, only to explain that they are just moving to another location.

This seems pretty typical to me, as an FWA type scenario.. move to a larger hotel while attendance drops, then end up in the same crappy hotel a year later.

I guess the highpoint was joining in in the 78 fursuiters who joined the parade, frolicking in front of the camera.

But overall, pennyless and tired, as a post-con fur should be, I had an absolutely fabulous time, and created memories that will last a lifetime. MFM 2009 was awesome.
