I would look at complaining. I know over here in the UK with trading standards laws. Items should at least last for a year and should be repaired or replaced if its under a year old.

I think your still in good stead to complain about getting a free replacement of the bulb. Just do we us Brits do. Go with a stiff upper lip, demand to speak to a manager and make them replace the blub.

are? bulb? i dun recall those things, its been flat screen since the day i remember *stares at the sly*

DLP they were the alternative to LCD witch have video variance and a video lag, or plasma witch have a short shelf life and ridiculous heat output and power consumption. a bulb in a DLP is suppose to last 600,000 hours or something like that I sure didn't get that out of it

Well, to begin with, where did you buy the bulb, and how long has it lasted you so far?

I find it hard to believe that a DLP bulb which is so ridiculously overpriced ($99 - $350 regarding to wikipedia) does not come with any kind of warranty.
