Happy 2020! Commission and general update

Happy last day of 2019! I swear it feels like these past couple months just flew by, huh? Ive been meaning to make a journal about this for a while now, and given that today is the last day of the year I should..probably..get around to that xD So first and foremost!
🖊️ Commissions- name changes, and price increases 🖊️
"Chibi Commissions" will now be renamed to "Mini Portraits Flat/Shaded" and with a small price increase to them. Being that I felt like I could never really find a style that was simple enough to be "chibi' and I kept putting more and more work into these than I think really needed to be, I have decided to stop fighting against it and just make them what they are. They also now have the option to have a simplistic added background if you so choose for an additional fee.
All Detailed Portraits will also be seeing a small price increase due to my "level up" in art and finding myself once again starting to put more detail into my work.
At this moment these are these are the only 2 commission types that I see need to be increased so everything is staying the same.

Ok so....I have noticed this bad habit that I have been getting myself into and it really needs to stop. What seems to happen is that when I open commissions, I take on many- if not all the forms that I receive-> then I close commissions and begin work, taking on much more than I can handle but I realize this too late and therefore keep my commissions closed until they are done-> commissions are closed longer than I intend for them to be-> Once im done I reopen for commissions and then take on as many forms as I can to compensate for being closed for so long-> wash, rinse, repeat. I have a hard time saying no because I get so many great ideas from people that I want to do them all and then feel myself start to burn out which makes work harder to do.
So as much as its gonna be REALLY HARD to do, come 2020 I am going to have to start limiting the amount that I take at a time, to hopefully be able to take on smaller work loads more often. Or so thats the plan anyway (I always have plans, whether they work out or not is a different story xD; ) Already I feel awful for how long its taken me to finish up my most recent list, and while I know many people dont mind the wait, I dont like it and I feel as tho I should have been done right now. I feel like I keep missing out on other events, like events and holiday themed art because if my commissions arent done, then I cant work on anything else. So heres to the new year in hoping to start having a more regular work load!
Off-Queue commissions are still available to friends and frequent buyers, this does not change
☕ Ko-fi art☕
In response to my main commission slots being limited, I want to see about opening up for smaller art that I can do around the time my main stuff is done. Ive seen some artist on twitter offering art for those that donate to their ko-fi accounts. Its something ive mulled over for a bit and want to try out! I have to figure out exactly what it is that I want to do, and a price range for it, but hopefully that will be a way to keep some art and funds coming in without having to take on more work than I can handle.

And now onto the last section! Patreon! I want to try and do more with it, or at least try and offer something more. I know that at this moment I dont think that I could rewards like many other artist, which I think is a big draw to Patreon. Ive been bouncing ideas back and forth about what I could offer as I really want to help others, so I thought about offering tutorials. I know some people have asked me about how I go about doing certain things and thought maybe some small video tutorials might help! Again something that ive just been thinking on, and I havent fully committed to it, but I wonder if anyone would be interested in it.

Well, I think thats just about it! I think I went on a tangent here but ah well, if you read through all of that, thank you so much! As always thank you to all my watchers, those that have been around for a while, and those who have only recently come across my page! Aweee!!!! I'll always support ya!! Just make sure you don't burn your self out! I know that taking on alot of commissions all at once is a huge workload and I totally support any changes that you need to make so that you'll be okay!!! Keep up the good work!!
