Yeah, it's all a little much. I'm sure part of me is just not used to it, but I feel like my eyes are all over the place, and not drawn to Art or Interactions, which is...literally the whole site lol. Folks underestimate the power of neutral grays and low-contrast palettes, too; it helps content take the forefront and UI remain a solid, intuitive structure. Like a sammich - you really just need some good, simple bread when you have a ton of fillings.

UGH right? It's so.. unintuitive almost. The worst thing I've noticed is that they removed titles/artists names from under the thumbnails on userpages.

lol I didnt even notice that. Really not helpful for folks that use like...warning/nsfw thumbnails or for stories.

Dang, I just realized I like to title mine so you know what's animated or commissioned, too, and...I'm not gonna go making custom thumbnails for everything I upload to say 'animated commission' -_-

HRGH I didn't even think about animated pieces, you're right, that's garbage. I wonder if there's a way to bring that up? Cuz when you're just browsing the titles/names are there, but not on userpages, so maybe it's just an oversight cuz nobody on staff knows how to code, I guess.
