My Goals for the New Year, and AMA

Hey, folks! After almost five years of silence on this account (with the occasional early piece thrown in, before I had really gotten my footing as an artist), I'm finally going to start actually posting things, and interracting with the community, here! Like, seriously, consistency is something I really struggle with, and I'm going to make another attempt to get back on the horse for that! Or have the horse get back on me, whatever! :P
So, anyway, my goal is consistent weekly uploads, on Tuesday and Saturday, from now until the end of time. Sounds simple, right? Right! Yeah! YEAH!
...Yeah.
Anyway! So, I figured, with that out of the way, I could start off with an Ask-Me-Anything for any of you folks who might want to get to know me, better!

For an ama thingy: what prompted you to start doing art originally? and is it the same reason you still do art now?
What prompted me to start doing art... hmm. Well, originally, I was a writer, rather than an artist! I frequently found myself wanting to get art of my characters, stories, and the like done, but was regularly frustrated with the state of the furry art market circa 2012-2015. The better, more reliable artists were out of my price range usually, scams were more commonplace, wait times were anywhere from weeks to months, and I had built up a collection of friends who drew, many of whom were happy to give me a leg up! About a year or two in, I came to realize that art is way more fun than writing, for me, and... it sort of took me over creatively! I eventually intend to do this professionally. I suppose that is to say my reasons have changed quite a bit.
