of the ratio of time spent on a drawing : comments and faves it gets. lol
I KNOW I KNOW BEATING A DEAD HORSE but I just find it funny :P
20 minute drawing = 65 comments
3 hour drawing = 10

The amount of time spent on any given piece is inversely proportional to the amount of comments received on said piece.

But drawing isn't a regular hobby of mine, so...
It depends on the subject matter, though. A quick doodle that's cute and funny is appealing to a lot more people, where a more serious drawing that you spent a lot of time on is appealing to a smaller audience.

I'm just making this more complicated for the person who decides to make a study.
Well, candy is a more open topic and that raindrops one seemed more emotional and personal, so... people didn't want to bug you about it, maybe?
MEANING more information to take in
this wouldn't be a problem, but most internet users have the IQ of about 4
meaning they panic and click off the submission before doing damage to themselves...meaning they have no time to comment or click the fav button

k = T * P * f(F) * C! * 1/d(W) where T= talent, P = Porn content (P is always >0), f(F) is the furry function, C! is the Coolness factor(ial), and d(W) is how derivative the work is.
problem is, sometimes the C! is inversely proportional to f(t) and sometimes even T.
I bet if you were to take the same ideas of the 20 minutes into the 6 hour pieces, results will end up quite interesting. :o

That's the fandom in a nutshell XD
I think that it also has to do with the funny or joking nature of many short doodle pictures that tend to be seen by more who are curious XD
