Chakats were a people that I could wrap my mind around so many years ago.

Quarter of a century! Prost!

In a way, I was pleased to be part of this unusual offshoot of the "Furry" fandom and stand watching at the "Sidelines" during it's creation and growth. It was the science fiction aspects that first attracted me to the sub-genre, but soon it was the way the idea of Chakats helping to bind the various fans into something like a community I found remarkable. Never before in my recollection had I seen something that was purely imagined inspire so many people who desired these dreams to become a "Reality." Personally, I feel due to their popularity, Chakats might become one of the first centauroid species that could be animated into an immersive reality Computer Simulation Game, but we'll have to wait awhile for the technology to catch up.

I cannot personally agree more. I have thought and watched from the sidelines myself and wanted in to this wonderful aspect of the fandom. ^.^
