A sad day, Neil Peart has passed on at 67 from brain cancer.

I also rejoice at a life of profound musical creation and performance.

My son (a drummer himself) told me about Neil a little earlier today. Not only a great musician, but also a talented writer. I bought my boy one of Neil's books ("Traveling Music" I think it was) for his birthday a couple years ago. I read it myself and enjoyed it a lot.
