✧*:・ﾟ✧ *:・ﾟ✧*:・ﾟ✧ *:・ﾟ✧*:・ﾟ✧ *:・ﾟ✧*:・ﾟ✦ *:・ﾟ✧ My apologies for not checking/replying to notes the past month or so. Holidays were a bit all over the place and I was trying to juggle that while also having one commission at the time left to finish. Afterwards I took a little break and relaxed.
But I did a huge big dumb over this past weekend that effectively set me back quite a bit art/commission-wise.
I wasn't being cautious enough and managed to erase/reformat my external hard drive, which had about 15+ years of files on it. Art, documents, commissions, passwords, characters, everything I've ever done or saved - gone.
Tried some recovery programs but ended up spending over $90 for a program - but it did work! Somewhat anyways. I did manage to recover a lot of stuff, but not enough of the stuff I actually wanted. But I can't do much else about it now except move forward and try not to dwell on what I can't fix.
I also decided to get a new computer since my current laptop is getting crappy (Windows 7 no longer updating) and my other laptop can't run more than one program at a time. Just said "fuck it" and bought a cheap-ish gaming desktop from walmart for like $650 (I still need a monitor + speakers but holy shit those are expensive??).
It's the most expensive thing I've ever bought and my previous computers were gifts, so it's scary lol. But it's also an investment considering I can't work if I don't have a good computer :x
So I'm pretty broke but at least rent is paid for already and we have food lol but money is gonna be tight af for a bit until I can save up again.
Beyond two people, commissions will be closed for the time being until I can sort all this mess out.

I dunno having a different job can help you pay the bills depending on what it is but I think your art was great Im sorry if you lost psd files of them you done because those can be something important in terms of practice and improvement including anything that help you do what you want like that can be just a pain in the head.

Glad to know you're alright, sucks this happened but at least with the upgrades that should help. There should be sales going on for TVs/Monitors sometime soon so hopefully you find a TV or Monitor for cheap~
