I've found that its hard to do so without some depression. I'm a loaner in general but I still like to interact with others. Distractions such as playing games, reading books, going for walks can help, but in the end, you need some one to talk to and see.
Emotion Suppression
Not effective.
I have to use suppress them myself.
Difficult as hell.
Other than that, trying not to think about it (and failing) and sleeping
