I don't know if you guys remember me talking about it before or not, but Pops had been battling cancer.
Yesterday morning he lost his battle with it, and left us.
It's been a very rough two days. I've tried my best to be there for my mom and everyone else, but it's been hard. I feel like yesterday lasted several years and we're all just now getting to wind down from it. I myself am just exhausted, mentally, emotionally, and physically.
The most important thing though, is that he's no longer suffering. He's finally at peace. We won't ever be at peace with it ourselves, but over time it'll get easier.
