Awesome Patrons

I have to say, I'm really stunned by the immediate response I got this weekend from people signing up to sponsor me. I had been expecting this to be slow going until I'd released more chapters of "Bigger", but it's only been a day and I've already got 9 patrons, almost all of whom are pledging $5! To think that this is just starting has filled me with hope for the full novel of "Bigger than He Bargained For," which was perhaps too large of a story for me to serious consider finishing purely as a passion project. Now my guilt is wiped clean, however. I'm committed to finishing the full novel as I envisioned it and am even planning for the sequel!
And to help with that, I think I'll bit the bullet and upgrade from Lite Patreon to Pro. That way I can offer different tiers to patrons and more rewards. Top of my list is an author Discord. Some of you already know that I use Discord a lot. I've picked out people who have given me thoughtful critiques and tried to reach out to them for advice and chat. I might as well open that up to Patrons who are interested as well. Another thing I could offer to premium patrons is the chance to RP with me personally. Heck most of what I'm posting on this page at the moment is old RP's so you all should know basically how that goes with me. Of course, my time is limited since I'm still working full time, and have college classes each semester. I'll have to work out how many people I could feasibly RP with, and how often I could reply, or perhaps have timed sessions if they prefer shorter style RP... Of course, if you read stuff like "The Health Cruise" you'll know I tend to write pretty long posts during RP's.
Other than that, I'd love to hear from my audience this week about what else they might like in terms of Patron rewards. I've been encouraged by all this early support so I'm basically ready to jump on the Patreon bandwagon now lol

I think something simple to start with are patreon exclusive polls. Should you decide you want everyone else's vote as well, your patrons should at least have more weight in their votes. The subject matter doesn't have to be limited to what projects you should work on either. You can have polls on mundane things like what species the character should be, what should the setting be, etc. I'm not sure how enthusiastic you are about this idea, but including cameos of people's characters would also work.
That being said, I would love to see more stories involving dragons or similar scaled creatures. The New Alveri Chronicles from writing.com and the His Weight in Bronze role play are one of my most favorite stories by you so far.
There's quite a lot of parameters to go through to start a story like this, like choosing the gender/species of the main character and what type of story it should be like fantasy, sci-fi or even rom com lol (please not the latter! XD)
Unfortunately, the New Alveri Reboot didn't really pan out =/ As for HWIB, I want to commission a cover for that and then I'll resume posting chapters there. I had thought about turning that into a book project, but I think at this point it makes way more sense as free content for all of you. =)
