Artists on Twitter - Don't do this
I've had to unfollow a couple of artists on twitter because of the flood of retweeted political posts.
Sharing your political views is fine. I don't mind the insight. The issue is when your feed is 90% reblogged posts, you are no longer a Twitter feed for your art - you're a political news aggregator. This is especially frustrating when your twitter handle is something like @yourname_art, yourname_draws.
Start another twitter profile for that. Maybe call it @yourname_personal, yourname_politics or yourname_will_pollute_his_followers_feeds_with_political_reblogs.

Oh yeah, I hate seeing this shit. I follow artists to see their art, not their political views.

This is a huge problem with most social media websites, but Twitter takes it to a whole new extreme. I had to unfollow a few people too, because it's not good for your health to discuss politics all the time.

You can also go to the page of them and disable retweets from popping up in your feed

Yeah, I agree with the other commenter. You can disable retweets, and you are left only with what they post themselves.

I've been doing that since 2017. It's like "C'mon, man! Can't I just see how happy people are from X Con WITHOUT another book of reasons why you hate [organization/politician/political event]?"
