And a little update. I intended on moving to California in about 2 years. But unforeseen circumstances came up, and that date was pushed to the end of the summer.
That being said, I am going to need assistance with saving up for food and board during the journey over, as well as a way to transport a cat. I've got ideas for the later, but I'm open for any input from someone who has done this.
