1K Watchers Retrospective

Hitting 1K watchers made me want to look back on things a bit. FA's statistics analysis are pretty behind the times so these observations and such all had to be done manually, but here we go!
First a few observations:
1. Rika seems to be by far my most popular OC overall with lots of posts in the 15-30 fave range, hardly surprising since she also has the most art and I put a lot of development into her. Cyrrix is in second place, with a lot of fave spikes over Rika, but that seems to be due to him having more crossover pieces with other characters and more "hardcore" sex scenes. Alinara is very popular for how little art she has plus the fact that most of it is SFW or very tame, and is probably at rank 2 or 3 in terms of how popular her individual pieces have gotten, but if you look strictly at faves/post ratio she might even be #1! Hope you guys like the upcoming design changes for Alinara!
2. Ya'll are kinky and lewd AF as they say on twitter, but I am too so don't worry I'm not judging x3
3. You can never really predict what will be popular or not, a lot of stuff I expected to get a lot of attention languished at less than 10 faves, other things I thought hardly anyone would like went viral.
4. Post timing is pretty critical, if you post stuff outside of peak hours it tends to get a LOT less attention!
5. Hardly anyone looks beyond the initial image they are faving, those who do often don't look past anything they can see on your profile page, it is a rare breed who goes into a gallery and looks past the first page of content.
6. Spending a lot on a commission does little to ensure popularity, many of my most costly pieces were total flops in terms of faves, and people seeing something on the page of a popular artist rarely go to check out the commissioner.
7. 7 years ago I hit 100 watchers and did my raffle event, back before raffles were restricted.
