On this day one year ago I made this account to put my work into a gallery and track my drawing progress. Getting straight to it, I can say that I'm happy with the progress I've made. In my first six months of drawing, I didn't even attempt to draw a face and instead focused my efforts in getting other things right. Only in the past couple of months did I start figuring it all out. I'm still a bit inconsistent and not confident yet, but hey I'm getting there.
I can say without a doubt that the friends I've made along the way helped a ton. Whether or not they were artists themselves, we created a sort of feedback loop of inspiration, and all of them just make me want to draw even more. I won't go too deep into this because I'm not one to use words to express how I feel. Perhaps I'll just let my art do the talking :3
On a side note, today is my birthday. Yay! *throws confetti in the air.* I have more than enough birthday lasagna for anyone who wants. Here's to another year of art.

Looking back and seeing how far you've come can be empowering.
I look forward to seeing more of your art, and watching how much further you can go!
Also, Happy Birthday!
And I have to agree the feedback loop is very real. A never endind chain to make something nice for the other was (and is) a great boost to keep going~
I'm always stoked to see new art from you and it will be really fun to see what you come up with this year :3
