Uhm, I'm not here for a commission, sorry, but I've read through your basic information and saw that you charge after the commission is done.

I live off of these comms at the moment and I'd highly suggest you change that to payment up-front or at least partial payment before you start drawing. (Like 50% before you start and 50% after you got an okay for your WIP or something like that.)

You're safer that way.
In my experience, the people here are awesome and trustworthy as a whole, but sometimes ... you just don't know. In 100+ commission I had one case where I was cheated out of my money. And it just hurts :^/ And you can do nothing about it. I changed my policy to payment up-front after that and no one has complained since :^)

(It doesn't even have to be done with an malicious intend, but sometimes people are just bad with their finances and in the time it takes you to finish the artwork, the commissioner might be out of money and you can write notes and ask for your money for weeks ...)
