What the Mystery Drawings are for.

General
So my current goal is to save up enough money to buy a desktop computer and a VR system.
Because I want to learn 3D modelling, then create a virtual BDSM space for people.
So I thought that if i just draw 300 drawings for $10 each, then I can meet my goal of $3,000.
On a more life note. I've been thinking about what to do with my life, since I'm in my early 30's now. And the best thing I could come up with, was to help people ease their mental stress through the practice of BDSM. And since I'm an artist, I can create worlds. And what better world to create, then one you can stand in. Thus my money goal.
About the comic, I love it, I really would love to sit here and create it. But I can't figure out how to make enough money off it for it to be worth the amount of time it takes to create, versus being able to draw other things or do other things in my life. So I have to figure out some way to make more money so I can sit and just draw a comic for free.
Anyways, the sooner I reach 300 drawings, the sooner I can reach the next stage of my plan.
So if anyone would like to share the Mystery Drawing link, or get one for yourself (or another) here is the link:

Jumping to VR and video game dev work might be too much too fast though. Not saying it can't be done, I finally got serious about developing my art skills a few years ago and it's been going great; You can make amazing progress once you finally cut through procrastination and excuses and just do the work. BUT, modelling, programming, and animating are all serious skill sets in their own right, and you have to be a hell of a person to pull them all off.
Meanwhile, I can tell you've put a lot of time and effort into your art skills over the past few years, and it shows. I've always been a fan, but your stuff has definitely improved in a serious way. That's a serious investment that still has potential. The comic may not be sustainable, but there are other possibilities, and combinations of possibilities.
Again, I'm glad you can tell when it's time for a new plan. That's more self-awareness than most people: they just try plan 1, fail, and give up. And obviously you know yourself and your art better than some other random aspiring internet artist; maybe game work really is the best strategy for where you are right now. Just consider that your art may still have a lot of untapped potential too, personally and commercially, and it may be easier to fork existing experience off in a new direction than to wipe the slate clean and start from scratch.
Either way though, I look forward to what you make. Your stuff is always really heart-felt and genuine, and that's not easy to find.
I’m not looking to make 3D models for games.
Really just wanting to learn how to 3D model so I can make 3D avatars of my characters. And so I can create a 3D space in the way I would want it to be.
I agree that it a very difficult skill.
My main focus is to create a sort of BDSM wellness center for people. The 3D modeling is just another cool tool for my belt.
