I have not heard of this particular Metal Gear game. Do you play as Solid snake, Big Boss, or Raiden? Or maybe they have a new character in the series?

I was unable to genuinely watch the Game Movie, visually, for Metal Gear Solid 4. However the way things ended up with Solid snake / David was most sad. :(

from what i have read about the game it takes place between Metal Gear Solid 5 Ground Zero's and Metal Gear Solid 5 The Phantom Pain that was for the PS4 and XBOX-One with mother base getting destroyed by Skull Face's XOF strick Team a portal way to some other world opens up and takes half of mother base and a lot of the soldiers with it and you have to make your own base in this other world and try to get back home

and i know the game got a lot and i do mean a lot of hate because Konomi made it after they fired Kojima but i wanted to give it a try anyway i mean i'm still a Metal Gear fan

They fired Kojima? Now that seems like a bizarre choice given how Metal Gear had been a major money-maker for Konami since the 1980s.

So, given the premise, I'm guessing you play as Big Boss? Or are you 'The Phantom'? (I listened to 'Game Movies' of both MGS 5 titles. From 'Phantom Pain', I gathered you were playing as someone who was left to believe they were Big Boss while the real Big Boss is in the starting phases of 'Outer Heaven'.)

The game sounds like a strategy title. Do you have to acquire resources, build defensive units, walls, etc.? Perhaps a 'lose' condition is if Big boss / Phantom dies?

yup they fired him for speaking out and calling them on the crapy way they were treating they, employees, I even heard that if you didn't tow there line i.e work as fast or as hard as they wanted you too then they would move you to some crapy demeaning job like cleaning the bathrooms i mean here you are a really good programmer and you may make one mistake and they bump you down to cleaning the bathrooms or whatever they wanted

so they fired Kojima and took all his IP's the MGS game the Silent hill games they even took his game engine that he made from scratch the Fox Engine so he left with nothing and started his own game company Kojima Productions and he's firs game was Death Stranding which is a really fun game that's the game I'm playing right now it stars Norman Reedus from the walking dead tv show

but it was really cool and super nice that Guerrilla Games gave Kojima their game engine to use to make Death Stranding and that game was Horizon Zero Dawn and Kojima even added in some of the oc's from Zero Dawn to his game as a way to say thank you to them

but as for the game yes you need to build your base gather resources fight monster's and zombies with crystals stuck in whats left of their heads it looks really crazy

It sounds really crazy... and more of a perversion of the series. :(

It is good that Kojima has struck out on his own. It stinks he lost 'Metal Gear', which was his baby, but I'm sure he'll find ways to create some awesome games that have that Solid snake feel.

yeah big time crazy but i have to say his new game Death Stranding is really really fun

Are you sure? I'd recommend you at least watch some reviews of the game before you play it at least.

yeah i have seen a few reviews of the game but i often like to try it out for myself before i pass judgment
