Another Update on my Cancer
General
Well everyone the PET Scan showed no signs of cancer cells in my body as all the black spots disappeared. So now they are going to continue with the process of doing the STEM cell transplant. Though before they do that they must do some tests. They want to do an echo scan of my heart, then tests of my vitals when walking a good amount of time, and finally tests on my lungs before starting the transplant. Now of course there is risk to the transplant as well as they said i may have a hard time getting kids later in life after this is all done. They also said there is a 2% risk of possible death from the procedure as well. Just like those getting open heart surgery done. So till all the tests are completed we are looking till like March when I have the transplant. So my calculations of maybe late August is pushed back to like late September roughly for the earliest return to work, latest being March of next year as they are wiping my entire immune system and restarting it essentially. Which they said could take roughly 6 months to a year to fully recover. Then they also have to give me all my shots from baby on up before I'm allowed to work again. Though luckily I have gotten some financial assistance, but still not enough to cover everything.
Again if you like to donate to my GoFundMe fund you can or if you can't just spreading the word helps too.

You think your going to fail and you will fail. You think your going to succeed then you will or you may not fail as bad as if you thought you would fail. Cause the fact of life is we will always have times we fail at things or have bumps in the road. Fact of life sadly, but if it wasn't for the failures or the bumps in the road then how can we say we became the person we are today or learn from things to improve ourselves.
So to me this is just a bump in the road that I will conquer. May take time, but I will push on. I have always managed through things on my own. Having friends to talk to and help me throughout the process of the bumps is even better.
But still one with friends who are by your side
Hang in there, Dragovich
