Actually, the entire "New" menu is missing from my right click on places. I'm checking my computer to make sure something hasn't managed to get in because it's been having issues, and it might be related to that. I'm noticing that all of my folders seem to be read only, but won't turn off of it. I'll get it figured out, but thanks for the help.

reformat I think, it sucks, but that virus might have more issues than just folder options I bet

Possible. Computer's been having issues lately anyways. I'd just need a disk to backup stuff. I'm not sure if I brought my vista install disk and such with me to my new apartment though. Going to see if I can get things back to normal without a reformat.

not very likely that things will suddenly go back to normal unless you fix the settings or the problem causing it... it'll take a little bit of troubleshotting.

I always recommend having an external USB hard drive to back up your stuff.

Yeah. It's possible that while I was trying to adjust the settings of my computer to control accesses for the guest account I had recently turned on I somehow turned off my OWN access to things, or it's just something stupid that happened when i turned on the guest account. I'm no strange to troubleshooting, and if I have to I'll get my stuff backed up to a dvd or two (most of the stuff on here is games that I have through steam so I can just redownload), and then format and reinstall
