Heyyooo
So I'm asking around on my social platforms, if anyone is into "Alternative Beliefs"
aka Paganism, Astrology, Wicca, Witchcraft, Satanism and so on, if ya'll could recommend me some books?
I have a few on paganism/wicca/witchcraft (even buddhism lul) but I really wanna learn more about Satanism.
I'm actually not a very religious person in a sense but I am very open minded, being raised in a Catholic household when I was baptized as Episcopalian lmfao very different view points with the same idea was interesting enough. I no longer practice as an "Episcopal" so I've been looking into other things to learn more and see what fits basically.
I'm just a curious bean uwu
ugh that was gross to type.
Anyway, please recommend me some good reads! (doesn't have to be "pagan" or satanism specifically it can legit be anything ya'll wanna send my way that you found interesting. )

It's pretty easy to read, and isn't some "mystical" manual. It says what Wicca is, where it came from, why it came to existence, what most practice, what most don't, and how to do basic rituals.
One thing you'll learn about Wicca/Most Pagan religions is that they're highly individualized. Wiccans really only practice two rules in common:
The Rule of Karmic Return, also known as the Cosmic 2x4 is that whatever energy, desire, or action you send out, you get something sent back at you eventually.
The Wiccan Rede, which is "Do what you want as long as it harms none."
Witch is a gender-neutral term, Warlock is a slur for an oathbreaker, and Wiccans don't practice Black Magic or Voodoo.
I've been Wiccan for going on... 4 years now! I'll be happy to answer what I can if you wanted to talk. :3
Core beliefs are almost all the same, but even they can be a little more different.
I've been a practicing Druid for about 4-5 years now and they're another sub category in the Wiccan spectrum.
The book I would recommend is "The Path of Druidry" by Penny Billington.
It has some good mediations ideas and covers what it is.
Being a Druid, to me, is about connecting yourself to the Earth and the people around you with a focus on self mediation and small changes that can make bigger influences.

Although it is different from The Satanic Temple. I find the TST to be darker "yes men".

If you're really interested in us I'd recommend looking for a local meet and talking with others. Generally we are very open to sharing our experiences, and also very welcoming to newcomers. If you want to talk to me more feel free to comment or message.

I've seen that others are recommending LaVey's book, and it is certainly worth a read, but LaVey was a deeply flawed man who's life philosophy involved the pursuit of pleasure to the detriment of all else. While he is certainly one of the progenitors of modern Satanism, the religion has really grown since it has moved away from his original creed.
You should check out his Wiki to get some general impressions of his ideas:

Check out the "Basic Tenets" section.
I wish you well on your exploration. :)
