It has come to my attention that many of you are asking for commissions and when the form shall be open again. Unfortunately, I have underestimated how long it would take to finish the projects I’ve dedicated myself to such as the AE comic, animations, and large batch commissions. Going forward, in the fairness of all those who want to commission me, there will be no more large batch commissions meaning there will be no more than 2 commissions per person until the next list is cycled in which they may sign up for 2 more again.

I am effectively ending the offering of comic commissions due to the large time sink into them as well as due to the lack of proper preparation on most commissioner’s parts (i.e. I’ve been simply instructed “I want a comic of X” but the commissioner has never prepped a script. I am simply left to guess how to layout page panels, what the dialogues are, and how to pose the characters).

As for animation commissions, due to the complexity of those as well as receiving requests similar to such as stated above regarding comics, I am effectively ending the offering of animations. These are a greater time sink than the comics and without proper planning much redrawing will be spent. Perhaps, in the future after an undetermined amount of time (possibly in the year 2022), I shall perhaps offer a single animation commission slot with the following prerequisites: 1. All negotiation for this must be done through my commission manager and roommate  pyrohawk 2. A properly written script must be made and reviewed with me and my manager. 3. A price tag of no less than $2,000 will be the starting price and it must be paid up front.

Commissions may open again near the middle or end of March 2020. I have not set a solid date yet and this may be subject to change depending on where my progress is after I finish these current commissions. This new opening will be limited and I will announce the opening for 20 slots (with a maximum of 2 entries per person, if someone submits 2 it will only count as 1 on the list) when the time comes. This will also be the final opening I will do before I introduce price changes.

In May, my lease at the current apartment I am staying in will be up. Due to the rising costs of rent, I will be seeking new residence potentially in a home as the rate of rent we are paying now actually surpasses that of a monthly home mortgage. I will announce when I am moving and when I can be set back up to continue after.
