My Brain on Depression and PTSD

Hey folks,
i'm still alive, apologies for the absence, been dealing with an awful persistent depression that has wrecked my concentration and ability to work on art projects. Currently seeing a therapist and i hope to be more productive in the future. but I cant make any promises when i'll be in a better place. At the moment the UK is engaging in a socially regressive backslide into a ugly, hateful place and my mood has turned for the worse, especially as bisexual man who works for minimum wage in a society that is increasingly socially conservative and hostile towards the poor/vulnerable, i am afraid this hateful animus will eventually turn on folks like me and it fuels my existing PTSD from dealing with the kafkaesque cruelty of the DWP several years ago.

I understand, 100%. So glad you are in therapy, I am too. It's helping me stay sane in this messed up world we are enduring right now.
