I believe, personally, sometimes you find the incompatible people before you find those who you connect with first. You seem like a fun cool dude and the smallest misunderstandings nowadays drives a lot of people away due to the oversensativity. You just need to find the right guy bud.
The thing is.. I feel like the main reason I'm not that interesting to be with is because of certain "habits".. More so that I'm my interests aren't entirely "furry material"
It depends on what you await from a friend. Do you want people that talk with you now and then and share some ideas or do you expect them to be around 24/7 and show interest in everything you talk about? Interests are different and not everybody enjoys a huge variety of things. Sometimes it's better to learn what a friend likes too and talk with him about common interests. A friendship needs to be equal after all.
So I am pretty sure you have friends, maybe you just expect too much from them.
Honestly, it comes more from not really fitting in. I just can't help but feel too different from everyone considering no one really gets interested in the things I have, also I feel I may have driven some people away.
I honestly don't know how to tell if something is too much or too little, and the thing is.. I'm probably not really "furry" material which probably fuels a lot of people's disinterest.. Especially considering the many anime and games I'm into.
I just can't help but feel..niche compared to a lot of others on here.
I don't think that you don't fit in. Like I said earlier, being a "furry" doesn't mean you only like furry stuff. There are many people here that love anime, games and fan art stuff related to it. But not everybody is interested in everything, so it's difficult for people to focus on things they don't enjoy.
The variety of things you enjoy is just larger and you need to talk with people about the topics they enjoy too. For example, if someone loves Persona, talk with him about Persona and the aspect in your projects related to it. And maybe with that the interest for your bigger projects comes as well.
Well, everybody loves something and has interests in the things you enjoy too. But you also need to figure out what that is. You can always ask people what animes or games they love and then work with that.
