If you don't like my tarantulas

You've got 3 options,
- Ignore them
- Unwatch me
- Block me
These are my pets, and I've every right to post photos of them. Anyone leaving mean or inappropriate comments about them will be blocked. I understand that some people are afraid of spiders, I'm afraid of true spiders myself, but if someone posted a photo of their huntsman or sand spider, I wouldn't comment calling it disgusting or saying I was going to kill it, just like you wouldn't post comments like that on pictures of someones dog.
Please show a little respect.
I never understood how someone could love a spider, but even then if I saw someone had one as a pet, I wouldn't be disrespectful toward it. Since getting 'into' tarantulas, and getting my own, I've realized what wonderful pets they are! They're so cool and so gentle, and they really do deserve to be loved, or at least respected!
There are 'New world' and 'Old world', New World tarantulas tend to be more docile, especially ones like the Desert blonde, Chaco golden knee, Mexican red knee, etc. My tarantulas are all New World and while the juvinile and the baby can still be fast, they don't tend to run about much. The most they ever run is down into their burrow if I startle them. As for my adult, who's full grown at a good 6" leg span, she's as hardy and chill as they get. She just strolls around really slowly, and she's super tolerant!
Old Worlds can be a bit quick, but I'd definitely say most tarantulas are a lot more chill than normal spiders, which is why I'm still terrified of house spiders and anything like that!
snakes, on the other hand, I do NOT like seeing IRL outside of a cage even if there harmless garder snakes
is that bad?
New World tarantulas have very weak venom, no more potent than a bee sting. Old Worlds have a nastier bite, but there's never been any recorded death from a tarantula bite. It's never strong enough to kill a human!
And no it's not bad aha, a fear is a fear. It's ok to be afraid of things so much as you have a basic respect for them! (Ie, choosing not to go near the garder snake instead of kicking it across the park lmao)
Yeah if I see a garter snake, I'd just run away, and if it was in my house, I'd call someone to take it somewhere else
Im sorry people are being rude about your tarantulas 😔 I cant even stand when people react to spiders or insects, saying theyd squish on sight. It hurts my heart
Plus saying you want to kill someone's pet, regardless of what it is, shows you as a total scumbag. Even if you're joking or trolling.
I'm chief scooper and defenestrator - sometimes with my hands, usually with a cup and paper: I don't really want them crawling over me, because I don't want spider goo on me if I squash then accidentally while suffering from the heebijeebies - they're so darn fast!
Its more so just a pointless reaction comment, wanted to to it for shitz and giggles once but judging by the many hidden comments and how very verbal you were from the get-go about not wanting anything but good wishes and approval It felt like i'd be treading on thin ice if I did.
Last thing I'd wanna do is get blocked just for making a pretty pointless false reaction comment.
As your yours, I think they are very good looking looking! (Although not quite as cute as a jumping spider, sorry. )

As another person said, they don't see them as living creatures, and that breaks my heart. The media depicts them as monsters, dangerous all the time.
My rosehair is the biggest spoiled princess in the house, she's hardly a monster.
And some people think they are being funny! "Hurr hurr I threatened to kill your pet, aren't a hilarious!" Ugh..
