For those who are in my circle (it's a tiny circle, lol), my yearly sacrifice of blood, sweat, tears, and fuzz is coming.

A chemical plant shutdown, TAR, turnaround, or whatever they want to call it this time.

Long story short, we run 24-7-365 so when we need to fix/modify stuff, we shut the whole block down. This is basically boss, bosses' boss, and bosses' bosses' bosses breathing down our necks while we shut down our units, quickly clean them, do all the repairs and then put everything back online.

I'll effectively be on 12 shifts nonstop till it's over.

This 'begins' week 17 (April 20th) and *ahem* should end week 21 (May 18th). IF things go well of course.

I will increasingly be difficult to get ahold of till then and will be a zombie afterwards.
