Being A Light In A Dark World

I feel like this has to be said and I know this world needs something more. We need to know who can save us, who can bring us out from darkness into light, who can save us from a disease far more deadly and contagious then the coronavirus and that's called sin. The only hope we have is this and his name is Jesus Christ and he's the only one who can save you from yourself and your sins. He said once he left this earth after he died on that cross that he would rise again and go to heaven but that he would leave you with a helper and that's the Holy Spirit that would be inside of you once you ask him to come into your life.
I did a lot of things I'm not proud of and committed a lot of sins in my lifetime. I struggled with watching porn and masterbating uncontrollably and I even had premarital sex when I shouldn't have. I was so filled with shame and guilt and I even fell into depression and became suicidal and had a lot of bitterness and hatred for myself and for others hurting me and I even hurt others too. That all changed the day I met Jesus Christ. I was in my bedroom and I asked him to forgive me and that I repented of my sins and suddenly I cried like a little baby and felt a wind inside of my body. That was the Holy Spirit entering me and right in that split second I heard him saying I was forgiven and freed from those sins. I felt such joy and happiness that I haven't felt in years. All of the shame and guilt is gone but that doesn't mean that I still have struggles and temptations because we all do. But because of the Holy Spirit guiding me, I no longer have the desire to do these wicked things and I'm literally transformed by the grace of God's mercy and love.
He loves me very much more then I could know and he wants you to know that he loves you too and wants for anyone who wants to know him to come and have a relationship with Jesus Christ so that you can have enternal life with him in the kingdom of Heaven. We have a choice, we don't have to go to Hell and the only way out of that darkness is through him.
I know I could potentially lose some followers for this but I felt like I was led by the Holy Spirit to write this out. You all mean a lot to me to tell you the truth and that you who don't know him would suffer much greater after this life. It would pain me greatly if that were to happen more so then losing followers.

ps, sorry for the long sad text, saw your journal and needed to ask/tell how i feel. *hug* it kinda resonated within me to say something.
God didn't put these disasters, wars, diseases, and other terrible things on the earth. It was because of sin back when Adam and Eve took the forbidden fruit of good and evil in the Garden of Eden from a serpent disguised as Satan and deceived them both. Then that's when sin started coming into the world and has been happening ever since humankind existed. God never created sin, it was human's own choosing of error that led to everything evil and bad in this world that's been happening for centuries. Satan only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. God sent his only son Jesus Christ to die on the cross so that we as humankind didn't have to pay that terrible price. He paid it for every human being and he's the only way to the father God and to be forgiven of your sins.
This is happening because of all of the evil in this world and the sin that runs rapid. Murdering, lying, cheating, fornication, coveting, adultery, etc. There's a lot of this that's covered in the bible. I encourage you to read the bible. It'll go into great detail about everything and even the end times too as well as what's happening in the world today. It'll tell you about who Jesus Christ is and about the Holy Spirit.

its horrible that all these things are happening, so we can only hope and pray for the better. ill take a look into the bible too, we have a local church, can stop by there anytime^^
