Well, the balloon went up this afternoon. Anybody following the news knew it was inevitable, but most of us weren't ready to board that train after it pulled into the station.
The entire rehab, staff and residents, watched Trump's speech on TV in the common room. Even the residents afflicted with dementia and Alzheimer's called Trump out on his bullshit.
My rehab is locked down. No visitors unless it's a hospice patient.
As many medical appointments are being rescheduled as possible. I will have to wait awhile longer for the medical operation to clean out the veins in my legs. My eye appointments are the exception.
The staff here at the rehab are golden. Their kindness will help us residents keep our sanity.
The rest of Las Vegas isn't doing too well. Layoffs have begun and a lot of people are going to be hitting the bricks.
Every buffet, house show and night club on the Strip and downtown are closed. Las Vegas probably right now makes Kansas look like Soho on a Saturday night.
