Thumbnail problem?

Aight, I'm aware I upload some pretty kinky art sometimes and I tried making thumbnails for it (as well as putting the content in the title) so that the people don't open things against their interests but FA is apparently having none of it, no matter how many times I try to get it uploaded. Does anyone know how to get them working or are they just dead?
Would appreciate any help you guys have 'cause I'd like to allow even the vanilla folk to watch me without stumbling across something that just isn't for them <3
EDIT: OK so it turns out FA is just wildly behind on this. I'm sorry to anyone who is put off by this stuff but I'll tag it in the title for you and hope that the thumbnails show up in your submissions anyway!

Thumbnails only show if you are already in image-viewing mode, and the little slideshow on the bottom WILL have the thumbnail. In gallery view, it will not show up, and will show the full image instead. FA'S STUCK IN THE MID 2000'S DAUG

As far as I know, thumbnails only apply to stories and music submissions, not images. Which sucks, because I'm in the same boat as you with wanting to use custom censored thumbnails for my more dirty art. FA USED to support custom thumbnails for images, but then they removed that feature years ago because of course they're gonna remove useful working features while pushing useless broken ones.
