I've gotten a semi decent structure for the inking phase down pat. The primary outlines will consist of a very thick brush, while the secondary outlines use a thinner brush.
The primary brush will serve for the outlines of a character, object and possibly even scenary. While the thinner secondary brush is used for details. Such as eyes, mouth, nose, clothing wrinkles and extra details for objects.
I was thinking that maybe they would have different colored outlines instead of the usual black. But that didn't look as great as I hoped, so I scrapped that idea. Another thing I wanted to mention is that the eyes, most notably the iris, will not have a black outline. Instead it'll have the character's eye color instead.
For certain angles, such as a side shot, the eyes will have a brush stroke that would go past the eye outline. Then I will use the cutter tool will cut off the extra bit.
One final note I want to make, is that the inking phase will have slight imperfections. Clearly not extremely noticeable ones. But some that would give off a more organic sort of look. Perhaps it'll be sort of similar to Ed Edd n Eddy, where the lines would appear slightly jittery. Or maybe like Toniko Pantoja's animation. Basically, the lines wouldn't be still one hundred percent of the time.
