So the warning say don't touch your face and wash your hands, but can you touch someone elses face? HA!
Anyway, went out to buy steel, luckily there's no run on that, need it for a project, just like half a ton or so but long pieces, on the way back I thought I'd get some McDonalds as we're drive thru food service only around here. All went well and I thanked the two window workers for working during the plague scare and it really seemed to brighten their day! One said her mom made her wear rubber gloves and well where she is handling money, I said that's a good idea, and if you don't have a lot you can wipe them with hand sanitizer too for extra protection.
Anyway, if you have to go out and shop, remember to thank those still out there, they're rather in the line of fire so to speak. This sounds like a virus that we're all gonna get either by exposure or vaccine, hold onto your hats.

Trust me, in my country (Greece ) we have a huge shutdown too, were not to go out ! And my mother belongs to they danger zone teams so we try to be very careful! Everything we touch always was our hands ! I'm glad and I hope they find a cure soon 😯

Big amen on the dirty money thing. And not just because of this, but GP. Though in some cases, the virus has stayed alive on cardboard or paper from 4 to 9 days. That also means let those packages of amazon toilet paper to sit for awhile without unpacking, or at least spraying down with Lysol spray (aerosol, not squeeze) before opening. Remember 40% alcohol is not strong enough. You need better than 80% to work. Medical is 90, 95%. No smoking. Medical grade nano silver sprays work, where povodone iodine (operand) does not.

although someone commented that the 40% solution was helpful as the water was needed to help breech the cellular wall where pure alcohol might not. I have a couple 25w UVA lamps that will kill anything that's alive, virus exposure for .03 seconds inactivates them. Plus free ozone that kills everything else!!
Yeah, time to break out those ancient bluish UV tanning lights up in the attic from the 60's/70's, the type you had to wear eye protection for. They work for sterilizing water put in clear plastic bottles too

Yeah. I got a couple gallons of chlorine bleach on hand anyway. That's part of my emergency drinking water plan. Mixed up a solution in a spritz bottle to use as needed.

Indeed, also look at potassium germinate, its rather nifty, all the way from water purification to fire starter.
