The Deaconess chain of hospitals, based in the Midwest, is asking for private citizens sheltering at home to craft reusable face masks for the nurses, doctors and EMTs who are trying to fight a pandemic disease with dwindling stocks of mass-produced N95 masks.

I can sew on a button, but I might be able to cobble together a mask for myself out of a bandana with a cartoon lion's face on it that I got as con swag a few years back.
