Is everyone okay?

I forgot my password and thought I'd never get back in here, but I'm in here ;D
Is everyone okay right now? There's a lot going on and a lot of people out of work, fearing sickness, etc.
What's going on, everyone? And I mean everyone, not just telegram buds

If it's finances... I can promise an attempt. I'm starting to get a little nervous about art sales on FA after seeing so many dirt cheap YCH's browsing the front page. I feel like they would have sold so fast a couple years ago :V
My fundraisers were my pride and joy...
Er... For now. I'm working at a super market, part time. As soon as all this blows over I gotta get out, the people here seem just hostile. u_u
But they won't close down, so that's great news!
Not sick yet but with how many of those morons we have there who like to show up sick its prolly not gonna be long
and because of the glove shortage now we have to have 2 30 min breaks instead of 2x 15 and a lunch
because of that the time in between breaks is longer and its draining everyone's will to work
at this point most of us are just zombies
Hang in there good buddy
This stuff is all going to blow over soon. They're already working on a vaccine and testing it. So that's good news ;3;
The zombie things too damn real, it's like that here too everyone's on their last leg. Their last termite infested peg leg.
on the glove shortage, its the whole of the world that's got it now. moronic people buy up 100 boxes and toss away gloves after touching a single thing. Biggest waste of gloves. Hospitals need em and the food industry needs em more than the people trying to avoid everything. After all, if they get sick and go to the hospital and they don't have gloves what then? If my job runs out of gloves then it means no food can be made. It starts a cycle that will lead to more needless deaths all because of select few putting themselves over others
And no kidding, I'm covered head to toe in cuts, bruises and full of fatigue
Wow, I just can't believe it's gonna take that long for the vaccine! The outbreak'll be over by then!!
and on the gloves, my job managed to get more but we are still doing the 2 breaks a day thing and its going to make people start quitting soon from being overworked
I've been... well, stressed out to the brink of suicide lately over not just the COVID-19 itself, but the incredible reaction that we as a people have shown towards the outbreak. It truly stints my heart to drive down a street in my cute little mountain town and see so many shops closed, so many businesses shut down, so very few cars driving around and people walking along the sidewalks... what used to be prominent with people now seems deserted and altogether forgotten about in the midst of this ugly ongoing pandemic. Then the stores are picked clean. No paper products whatsoever (so LAAAAAAAAAAAME), no meat, no canned goods... this town is short on far too many resources. :(
Then to top things off even further, I work in an elderly care facility. This place is merely a branch-off from the main HQ, located in WASHINGTON STATE. Numerous elderly residents living in THEIR facility have died from the COrona, so we also have become BIG BROTHER IS WATCHING 1984 in nature. Complete lock-down status, routine temperature checks at the door along with health-related questions to be answered, a closed dining room in place of cart-delivered room service... I've felt more like a freaking bellhop in a fancy hotel than a kitchen lackey working to serve food & drink to the elders. Our method of approach has been horribly disrupted, no thanks to this... this... THING that's contaminating humanity as we speak.
Oh, that's not all either... I've been dealing with frequent power outages, heavy snow days, icy road conditions, TRUMP, financial woes, relationship estrangement, depression and anxiety and insomnia...
but despite everything, I still make a feeble attempt at maintaining optimism in my life, even though I wish I could just stop already because it can get extremely frustrating and even exhausting sometimes.
But enough of that! How've you been? :3 Fairly well, I hope?
(I wonder if you still remember the couple icon from before, with my shepcoon and
The icons!!!! Yes!!! I'll try to get those done asap. My telegram's railgunsharky and my discord's JongJong#9810
Feel free to ad me on those if you want closer communication, I can keep you updated every day as I chip away at it for sure!
I have a lot of unfinished stuff, I'm pretty ashamed, but better late than never is my motto. ;_;
I hope you’re doing well there, I missed ya! <3
Glad to hear you're holding up alright! I was just talking about the fast food napkins. It's totally a thing right now, if any fast food's still open. It's always a risk, but it's a risk you can wipe with. .-A-.
Did you hear about the scalpers? I read some news about people selling their houses to buy/sell upcharged toilet paper, then amazon put a ban on upcharging it. Those people lost everything and all they have is tp. :Y It's pretty wild!!
I heard about it yeah! Our local site, Kijiji, banned the sale of it at all as well. And most grocery stores and drug stores have put limits on how many you’re allowed to buy, with the first hour of opening being senior and disabled shoppers only.
Honestly what did they expect? It was so mean of them to try to profit off misfortune.
That's a smart idea, giving the more vulnerable guys an hour of safety. More places should be doing that here in the states but I just keep hearing "they're thinking about it"
I thought so too, and it’s smart to do the first hour so everything is clean and sanitized for their safety, and everything is in stock.
I really hope they do decide to follow through with it in the States as well, it really seems to be helping.
Seriously, I want to bitch slap whoever brought that corona virus in U.S.
The job market is supposed to be great when everyone bounces back though, that's what everyone's saying. :D
15 days of grounded, eh?
They're leaving grocery stores open in town though, right? Everywhere looks so deserted, now's the best time in history for paintball and it's illegal. Boo. u_u
I'm doing fine, glad to hear so is this bouncing baby pinkfluff~ I know how nerve wracking it is to work with people, I feel like if I don't wash my hands and everything I touch every five minutes I'll kill someone's nan
The pressure's really on for us workers
What's up bro!
Sorry to hear you lost the little fellow, how recently was this?
It's spreading around? Are you guys locking everything down yet?
Over a decade is a good life though, for a puppy, and he spent it with someone very caring. Oh man, Beck, you always get so worried when your family's going through stuff. I hope you're remembering to spoil yourself a little bit
Oh yeah, everyone except for essentials is closed here in Ohio. Goodness, in Cincinnati the police are limiting what they'll come out for and people are just casually looting stores unless they hire a personal officer on duty apparently
Missed you, JJ
