a bit scared

So I have a corneal ulcer in my right eye, basically an infection. i dont suggest googleing it cuz some of the images are really gross. I saw the eye doc as soon as I saw a problem but the antibiotics they gave me didn't work, so now im on 2 different ones. I cant help but think I messed up with the first antibiotics, I have a hard time putting drops in my eye, so I couldnt help but think I was just making it worse.
The first doc I saw kind of made thing worse with talk of maybe being hospitalized so when I was talking with the second doc I was almost crying when I heard things where worse and was asking about it. He made it sound like I wont be needed to be hospitalized he is more worried about the fact that I dont have insurance though but he was doing all he could to keep things cheap, I do have family to help me some but he said things could add up over time and I have to see him again next week
Sorry for the heavy subject I just needed to do a bit of an emotional vom

Sometimes our bodies don't react well to the first antibiotic so it is natural to feel like you messed it up. But that's not always the case and you might need a second antibiotic instead. I had staph infection that caused my hand to swell up 3x the normal size and I was one 2 different antibiotics.
The best advice I can give is just to continue to do what the second doctor says because he seems to be trying to help you in your situation. Also make sure to take all the medications provided and use all of them. I've seen an infection come back because someone doesn't finish off the antibiotics because "It looked like it was better".
But I've had my fair share of infections, I got an eye infection while at work similar to yours. They said I actually woke up with it.
Asking since my dad have asked about it sometimes and seems to say that the natural is much better to use.
I hope you will be alright soon.
