I've been noticing a lot of my friends, acquaintances, and people I follow on Twitter and such are getting worn out already with everything going on. These are stressful times. We weren't ready. For pretty much all of us, things are turned upside-down. For me, it's not so much that I can't go places as it is all my spaces, both physical and digital, are way more crowded than I'm able to deal with. I spent about a week already sick with stress and stir-crazy. It's been making working very difficult and slow because of constant (and I mean every 5-10 minutes constant) interruptions and slamming doors ruining my mental state. But even with all that, I can barely imagine what it's like to be furloughed without pay, in a world trapped in a holding pattern for who the hell knows how long.

For everybody quarantined and scared, I wish I could help. I really do. I hope my silly stories can be a distraction.

For everyone working at grocers and distribution centers, I don't know if thank you is the right thing to say. I mean, yeah, THANK YOU, but y'all never signed up for this shit. I've heard from IRL and online friends what a nightmare this has been. But I'm glad people are finally waking up to see how important you all are. Because you always were. Most of us are privileged to have never needed to think about things like "supply chains" before now.

For anyone following me who works in medical, I don't even know what to say. Thank you so much. We're all doing what we can to help.

We're gonna get through this. I know it's frustrating to feel like we're hiding from something that we can't even see. But it's to keep bad from becoming way worse. Tell your friends and family you love them. Raise your voice a little so they can hear you from, y'know, over there.
